Camborne Shopping Week

A family fun week with FREE entertainment, exclusive offers and lots more!

Camborne Shopping week first took place in the 1950’s as part of the ‘Festival of Britain’ and later as part of the Camborne Festival Programme. BID Camborne has brought it back in 2017 to invite both local residents and visitors to Cornwall to visit our town and our businesses.

Camborne has a compact, level town centre with a good mix of national and local businesses offering something to suit everyone.

With traditional butchers and newsagents, music, and model railways our shops are bursting with value and local character. In fact, this is often the only place you will find them. Be sure to allow ample time, there’s plenty here to browse and most people enjoy a chat.

Camborne High Street
The local businesses have come out in force to help celebrate Camborne Shopping Week with a range of exclusive offers just for you.

You will also find a variety of FREE entertainment in town, with something for all the family including balloon modelling, face painting, street entertainment, Richard Trevithick’s iconic ‘The Puffin Devil’ and a Street Food Festival. More details can be found by visiting our Whats On guide.

Our Camborne Shopping Week leaflet has all of the information you need – where to park, community toilets, what’s on and exclusive offers from the local businesses. Copies are available from all the businesses in town or you can download it here.

“There is a real sense of excitement in the town as we approach Camborne Shopping Week. We’re very proud of the transformation that is happening in Camborne and this is the perfect opportunity to see and experience all that our hard-working traders have to offer.”
