Town’s new welcome banners and Richard Trevithick statue.
The first website dedicated to promoting Camborne and all it has to offer is already changing people’s opinion, keeping them better informed and increasing footfall into the town.
Visually striking, features the powerful Camborne Town branding, which was chosen by the town’s people and launched last summer. It’s also fully integrated with social media platforms providing increased exposure and promotion through Facebook (CamborneTown.com), Twitter (@CamborneTown) and Instagram (cambornetown).
The website is a shop window for the whole town. It promotes the diverse shops and businesses with a listing for each one including contact details and links to each business’s Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and Google+ accounts. It also has a comprehensive What’s On guide listing daily information about the events and activities happening in Camborne.
BID Camborne Manager, Mel Martin, said: “The aim of the website was to show locals and visitors how much Camborne has to offer and to keep them fully up to date with ‘Whats On’. It seems to be doing its job as we’ve seen evidence of increased footfall and had some encouraging feedback from shoppers who are new to the town or who have returned after hearing how much the town has improved.”
