We have some brilliant local produce around Camborne – and with food, crafts and more, Camborne Produce Market really does have something for everyone. It’s every Friday in Commercial Square, right in the middle of town.
You’ll never be short of a good lunch from our market. With fresh local meat and crab, artisan breads, salads, jams, fruit, veg, and, of course, the all-important pasties, there’s a feast for even the rumbliest of stomachs.
Or if you’re looking for something handsome for you or your house, our skilled local craftspeople show their work here too. There’s knitted bits and fine needlework, plants and shrubs and much more. Even if you’re not looking for something in particular, it’s fun to just enjoy the entertainment and atmosphere while you browse. Come and see, each Friday from 9am until 2pm in Commercial Square.
“Those dripping crumpets, I can see them now. Tiny crisp wedges of toast, and piping-hot, flaky scones. Sandwiches of unknown nature, mysteriously flavoured and quite delectable, and that very special gingerbread. Angel cake, that melted in the mouth, and his rather stodgier companion, bursting with peel and raisins. There was enough food there to keep a starving family for a week.”
