The draft proposal for the second term of BID Camborne has been published and sent out to levy payers for consultation and feedback.

Great improvements have been made to the town’s central business area during the first five year BID term and there are plans for even greater improvements for the next five years, 2017 to 2022.

The main focus of the first term was improving Camborne’s environment and promotion. The proposed focus for the second term is to continue improving the environment and promoting the town. New proposals include developing a visitor attraction and a new summer event for the town, a ShopWatch scheme, town centre management and introducing Beacon technology, a Camborne loyalty card, Camborne business awards, an e-newsletter for the town promoting events and special offers and consultation with residents and visitors about what they would like to introduce or change about the town centre.

The feedback has been collected and all proposals and responses will be considered by the BID Camborne board at it’s meeting this month.
