The people who make Camborne fantastic will be in the spotlight in May at the first ever Camborne Community & Commerce Awards.
Camborne Town Council and BID Camborne are working in partnership to organise the awards, which will be a celebration of community and commerce activity in Camborne Parish.
“Often our community heroes are unsung, quietly working hard to make a difference. They don’t do it for the recognition; but we want to celebrate them and say thank you,” explains Rose Hitchens-Todd, Engagement Officer, Camborne Town Council.
The awards will include individuals and business-people. “There is so much great work going on in Camborne, both in the community and among our businesses. This will be a wonderful chance to reflect on what makes our town so special,” adds Anna Pascoe, BID Camborne Manager.
The awards will take place at Camborne Rugby Club on 6 May and nominations are open from 2nd March. Trophy sponsorship opportunities are also available – if you are interested in sponsoring an award, please get in touch
