Camborne looks fabulously festive. The decorations are up, the Christmas window displays are some of the best ever and there is still a host of upcoming events and attractions to celebrate the season.
Tonight is the children’s Christmas lantern parade. Led by the rhythmic sounds of the local schools’ samba band, the willow lanterns will process through the town centre between 4.45pm and 7.20pm.
This is the ideal time to shop local and support BID Camborne’s ‘I Pledge to #ChooseCamborne this Christmas’ campaign and there are lots of extra Christmas shopping opportunities on the run up to the big day. Stocked with a wide range of local food and crafts, the Camborne Produce Market becomes the Christmas Cracker Market for the next two Fridays – December 16th and December 23rd – from 9am to 2pm in Commercial Square. The final Saffron Trading Company Festive Craft Market before Christmas takes place on Thursday, 22nd December, from 10am to 4pm at the Donald Thomas Centre.
As an extra gift to shoppers, parking is free in the Rosewarne car park this weekend – Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th of December and again on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Full details of all events can be found in the Camborne Christmas Guide which is available to pick up from town centre businesses. For further information, visit www.cambornetown.com
