I often got asked these things when I shared the dream of owning my own shop again. I knew that it’s not easy or that I’ll earn my fortune but it was my dream.
After moving away for a few years I have to confess to being homesick, I missed Camborne, my friends and family.
I’ve been back for almost 7 years now and I’ve had a few “real jobs” but I wasn’t living my dream. I made jewellery and gifts from the spare room and went to a few markets and various events which encouraged me to keep going. Then I had the opportunity to follow my heart and open my own shop.
In March 2019 Jojangles, jewellery and gifts opened in Trelowarren Street .
It’s been an amazing year with so many previous customers popping in and have now become good friends. In my shop I stock what I make as well as wide range of jewellery and gifts, quirkier the better ! I’ve a no pressure sales policy and aim for a happy atmosphere.
During Lockdown I’ve been exploring the Walks around the town, got lost a couple of times too. The surrounding countryside is stunning and worth seeing.
So, town or Country? Camborne has both and I’m very proud to be part of it.
